Recruitment and talent acquisition should be both an objective and a collaborative effort. Too often word-of-mouth, haphazard recruitment efforts merely produce short-term results. We serve as an intermediary which is instrumental in building exceptional transplant programs, not simply filling open positions. While we prioritize candidates, and assemble teams, we do not advocate on their behalf. Employers make their own decisions. A balanced perspective is essential in producing the most acceptable outcome. Without an independent intermediary serving as an impartial and knowledgeable conduit, recruitment is a proverbial crap shoot, which inevitably produces, well, what else? Crap.
