Description:
This position ensures that the time reporting and travel systems are compliant with government regulations and contractual provisions. This position also supports the processing, tracking and reporting of costs on selected externally funded projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred. On evaluation, a two-year degree or certificate and three years of experience, in addition to that required below, in bookkeeping or other related business may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Two-years’ experience that included advanced spreadsheet and software skills.
Knowledge of government regulations (FAR, OMB A-122 circular).
Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Access; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Description:
This position is responsible for a variety of bookkeeping functions within Accounts Receivable. Duties include, but are not limited to reconciling customer payment applications, credit card gift transactions and donor gift database to the G/L; reviewing, researching, establishing and maintaining customers in a computerized accounts receivable systems, including Raiser’s Edge according to department policies and procedures; performing file maintenance, filing system and files paperwork for the entire AR group and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or two-year certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, or related business program. Upon evaluation, two or more years of directly related experience may be substituted for the degree or two-year certificate, in addition to the minimum experience.
Three years of progressive full range experience in an accounts receivable position utilizing computerized accounting/database systems.
Accounts Receivable experience(s), Microsoft Office software, computerized AR systems and accounting concepts.
Intermediate software skills to include data entry, database, word processing and spreadsheet skills. Demonstrated strong written and oral communication and organizational skills. Proven success using computerized payment systems. Strong reasoning and problem solving skills. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Excellent customer service skills.
