Description:
The Nurse Researcher - Clinical Research & Outcomes is responsible for research and outcome activities related to Patient Care Services.
The Nurse Researcher will seek out, develop and collaborate with internal and external support and funding resources to create and maintain progressive research and outcome based programs.
The Nurse Researcher will design and coordinate the overall research and publication activities for PCS and will conduct his/her own independent research.
The Nurse Researcher will be responsible for the oversight, data collection, submission and translation of CalNOC and NDNQI data bases as well as manage systems related to clinical outcomes and performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Education/Training Required:
Doctorate required: PhD in Nursing or DNSc
· Minimum Experience Required:
· Minimum of three years of clinical pediatric experience
· Previous research and PI expertise
· Minimum of one year nursing research and grant preparation preferred
License, Registration or Certification Required:
· Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of
· Current CPR training
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Demonstrated organizational skills required
· Strong interpersonal skills required
