Transplant Nephrologist, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey

Description:

This position provides an ideal opportunity to join an academic transplant program in a great location. The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine are located in the heart of New Brunswick, NJ.
 
Performing about 100 transplants per year in the Kidney Pancreas section, the RWJUH Program enjoys a full complement multi-disciplinary team, a brand new outpatient clinical facility and a Magnet Nursing Hospital.
 
The successful candidate will be appointed to the faculty at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at a rank commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have completed a transplant fellowship by date of hire. Consideration will be given to candidates with significant experience in transplantation during or after nephrology fellowship. The candidate should be board certified in Internal Medicine and must be board certified/eligible in Nephrology. Experience in pancreas transplantation is a plus. In order to begin work, the chosen candidate will have to obtain NJ License.
 
Opportunity for clinical research exists, and there is expectation for teaching both residents and students.
