Data Analyst, Clinical Informatics, National Marrow Donor Program, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description:

This position will work with internal staff and external business partners to analyze business processes and to determine root causes for system and process problems. This role will also be responsible for application analysis and programming, identify user, business, and system requirements by working with users, business, quality assurance, and development staff, assist with the organization and administration of Clinical Informatics projects, coordinate project scope and timelines as necessary, and create user and systems documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, informatics or math.

Four years of experience that includes project management and/or business analysis, performing requirements definition, analysis, documentation and design. Three years of experience working with data model development and programming.
Experience with implementation of large scale, cross-functional projects, analyzing improvement for business and quality processes, and business writing is preferred.

Informatics or healthcare background preferred.

Programming skills in a .Net environment; technical and business requirements definition, analysis and documentation; data model development. Demonstrated leadership and problem solving analysis. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment to develop projects and complete assignments.
