Description:
Investigate
the interaction of bacteria and the immune system in mouse models of
leukemia and stem cell transplantation, and to develop novel molecular
and cellular treatment strategies to separate graft-versus-host disease
and graft-versus-tumor. Perform technically advanced work and perform
tasks independently with minimal supervision. Collaborations with other
laboratories and investigators within the Section and Department are
routine.
Qualifications:
M.D.
or Ph.D. required; at least three years of research experience
preferred; previous experience in cellular immunology, particularly
mucosal immunology, molecular biology, construction of expression
vector, analysis of protein, tissue culture, and with mouse modeling
required.
