OneLegacy, the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven-county greater Los Angeles area, has an immediate career opportunity for a Surgical Recovery Technician - Per Diem in our Los Angeles Office.

Position Description:

The Surgical Recovery Technician (SRT) is responsible for all aspects of tissue recovery arrangement and performing recovery of eye tissue at hopitals, coroner facilities, and funeral homes. Additionally, this position will act as a vital member of the recovery team in a position of excising technician or back-table technician for the aseptic surgical recovery of all tissues and perform laboratory and office duties.

Qualifications:

Highly qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university, completion of Surgical Technologist or EMT program, and/or training in an affiliated health or mortuary sciences field with a minimum of two years recovery experience in the tissue recovery industry. CEBT and CTBS certification are required. A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required.
