Tulane University Hospital and Clinic is searching for Board Certified Anesthesiologists to join our staff as employed physicians as our program grows and expands.
 
Candidates will have to be hard-working, willing to work in academics and be part of the rebuilding of Tulane Hospital and New Orleans. Fellowship training in Pediatric, Pediatric Cardiac, Obstetric, or Transplant Anesthesiology is required. We are also recruiting a General Anesthesiologists with a strong academic background. These are full time, employed position with academic responsibilities. There are eighteen other Anesthesiologists in the Department right now, who will share in a minimal call rotation.
 
As an employed physician, you will receive a negotiable salary commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance, practice expenses, healthcare insurance, retirement benefits and much more! In addition, we may be able to provide a sign on bonus, relocation, marketing, loan repayment for new grads and legal fee reimbursement. Louisiana is a Tort Reform State (capped malpractice claims), which makes this a very physician friendly practice opportunity.

Within the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia at Moffitt-Long Hospital, the successful candidate will teach and conduct patient care. The successful candidate in the In Residence or of Clinical X series will conduct research. The Division is responsible for a full spectrum of adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and complex congenital heart surgery.
