Description:
LifeQuest serves a 36-county region of northern Florida and has an opening in the Jacksonville office.
Responsibilities: serve as the first responder to donor referrals; offer the option of donation to families of potential donors; obtain donor medical history; articulate information to families in an easily understood manner and provide emotional support throughout; provide assistance to marketing team; typically a maximum of 10 days of first call per month.
Preferred: RN or master’s in social work or clinical psychology with one year of practical experience; or bachelor’s in related allied health field with three years experience in an acute health care setting, hospice, bereavement counseling; or equivalent work experience with active involvement in the death, dying and grief processes. Must be computer proficient and have excellent communication skills.
