Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Transplant Quality Specialist (Job Number 16159).

The Transplant Quality Specialist in the Oncology Department will assist the Transplant Quality Management Officer and the Transplant Quality Coordinator with quality management and quality improvement initiatives in the medical care for patients and donors of transplant services. The Specialist will assist in the maintenance of the standard operating procedures (SOP) within the clinical transplant program. The selected candidate will work closely with the Transplant Quality Coordinator, physicians, nurses and staff of the program and institution to conduct ongoing quality assurance and quality improvement within the department. The candidate will assist in maintaining competencies, licensure, and continuing medical education documentation.  

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week.

 

Requirements:

 

·    RN Required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

·    3 years of experience in bone marrow transplantation required.

·    Quality assurance/improvement experience preferred.

·    Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure Non-Compact state. (RN-ARK or RN-MISS)

·    Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
