The Clinical Program Manager Transplant at Baylor All Saints Medical Center is responsible for providing management and oversight of the Solid Organ Transplant Program, including Liver, Renal and Pancreas, the Liver and Pancreas Disease Center and Pulmonary Hypertension. This role will also:


• Works in partnership with management team within BRTI to ensure the provision of optimal patient care and service, attainment of financial goals, and development and implementation of the strategic plan for BRTI.
• Works collaboratively with the physicians and management team to identify, develop and implement clinical and operational processes to support the daily operations.
• Oversees and manages clinical staff including maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and managing clinical staff through appropriate HR guidelines.
• Responsible for complying with hospital policies and procedures and providing education to clinical staff within the department.
• Responsible for ensuring that the operational processes are in compliance with the various regulatory standards impacting transplant (UNOS Bylaws and policies, Medicare Conditions of Participation and JCAHO).
• Responsible for financial, productivity and other performance metrics as determined by the organization.

Requirements:


Interested candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, a current TX RN license and 2 years of solid nursing management experience in a clinically related area. A Master’s degree in Nursing and related certification are preferred.

Description:

 

Cedars-Sinai has an immediate opening for a Clinical Program Coordinator for the Liver Transplant department who will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all aspects of the work up and care for organ transplant patients throughout the continuum of services- from initial referral to follow-up care.

 

The Clinical Program Coordinator will serve as the primary coordinator for the interdisciplinary team, including: physicians, nurses, social workers, dieticians, pharmacists, financial analysts, case managers and support staff.

 

·    Responsibilities include the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of educational programs/projects for patients, personnel and the community;

·    Collects/documents data to meet clinical, financial and regulatory requirements;

·    Participates in the development of guidelines, protocols, pathways and other performance improvement activities;

·    Participates in research activities and serves as a patient advocate throughout the care process.

 

The Coordinator represents the medical center at regional and national meetings/conferences.

 

Qualifications:

 

Requirements include valid CA RN license, BLS, BSN, and a minimum of 5 years acute hospital experience to include at least 3 (three) years experience in Intensive Care Unit / Liver Transplantation.
