We currently have an opening for a Clinical Nurse II on our Transplant/Renal Unit.
Nurses on this unit provide complex care to patients awaiting and recovering from lifesaving kidney, liver, or pancreas transplants, as well as for those who are critically ill due to organ failure. Having a unit dedicated to transplant patients allows for continuity of care and optimizes standards of care, resulting in improved patient outcomes. Intensive care services are also available for blood and marrow transplant patients. The unit features several negative air flow rooms with adjoining anterooms for patients who require isolation during their recoveries.
Job Requirements:
· Kansas Registered Nurse license or eligible.
· 2 or more years of RN experience.
· Must have an American Heart Association basic life support (BLS) or an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
· Other certifications may be required depending on nursing unit.
