This individual will join a high performing team supporting the global launch of a novel biologic immunosuppressant just having completed phase III development for kidney transplant. Specific areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to refining the market map for pre launch and launch business opportunities for the indication, ensuring integration of this structure with the MSC disease strategy, the clinical plan and eventual product label. This person will also be responsible for understanding patient identification across IV and subcutaneous programs and changes in infrastructure supporting subcutaneous launch. The evolution of the strategic brand platform for consideration of the broader lifecycles programs. The individual will work closely with the Director Global Medical Strategy, Director Global Market Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Outcomes Research, Market Research and regional points to ensure strategies and tactics are integrated and optimized across the FDT.
Qualifications:
Person in this role must have strong analytical and strategic marketing skills. Broad marketing experience of 7+ years in a range of therapeutic areas is required Transplant Immunology experience would be desired. The individual must have demonstrated capabilities in driving and developing deep market and customer based insight and turning this insight into clear strategic plans. Strong leadership skills, the ability to shape a vision and build alignment and strong relationships across functions and geographies will also be required. Translates market, customer and competitive insight into implications for the science and the overall commercialization strategy. Competencies in strategic brand platform development and evolution including positioning and messaging is preferred.

Description:
The Product Director, Transplant Marketing leads brand marketing activities for the assigned GNE products and their approved indications, e.g. developing and overseeing brand strategies, developing and managing brand promotional strategies, plans and tactics, etc.
Reports to: Sr. Director, Franchise
Example Duties and Responsibilities:
* Participates in development & implementation of 3-year brand and 1-year tactical plans
* Contributes to other GNE business planning processes
* Achieves margin goals and increases rate of market adoption for assigned brands
* Develops and manages a considerable marketing budget
* May also have people management responsibilities for hiring, developing and overseeing the work of others
* Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of GNE activities
* Business travel, by air or car, is required for regular internal and external business meetings
Qualifications and Experience: unless stated as "preferred" or "a plus," all other criteria is required
* Bachelors Degree
* MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
* 6 or more years' work experience in product marketing, field sales management, or market planning management in the pharmaceutical/biotech/or other related industry, with a minimum of 3 years' previous brand marketing experience
* Previous brand marketing experience in the same or related therapeutic area is a plus
* Previous field sales management is preferred
* Previous marketing experience with pre-launch drugs is a plus
* Working knowledge of product development, regulatory and clinical affairs
* Demonstrable abilities to establish physician thought leader and other relevant stakeholder relationships Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals
* Previous experience in completing & implementing attainable business plans
