Description:
The Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona is seeking a Transplant Immunologist with experience related to tolerance induction. Responsibilities include the development and administration of the transplant immunology program, in collaboration with transplant surgeons in the Section of Abdominal Transplantation and a multidisciplinary team to provide adult and pediatric kidney, liver, and pancreatic transplantation and patient care.
Faculty appointment rank and tenure eligibility will commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Development and administration of transplant immunology program.
* Collaboration with abdominal transplant team and multidisciplinary health care professionals.
* Participation in education of medical students/residents/ fellows, as well as undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
* PhD in Immunology or closely related field.
* Experience related to tolerance induction.
* Proven record of research excellence related to transplantation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Administrative experience evidenced by successful program development.
* Established expertise in working with diverse communities.
